You have nothing to worry about, I got you. I’m going to match your outfits with the perfect spot for your style and outfit choice. Then I show you exactly how to pose and I’ll direct you from behind the camera, even including when to be serious, smile or making you laugh. Photo shoots are super fun and easy going!

After the photo shoot, we will meet up for an in person viewing appointment. This is when we will go through your images together and create a collection perfect for you.

I’m located in Ackley where I have a downtown studio. I love to photograph there or in nearby towns.

Maybe you want to get locations that none of your friends will have OR I can come to you and scout the perfect spots in your home town. Mileage and travel expenses will be determined case by case.

Summer and Fall are the best - but also the busiest!
May = Think springtime florals & something fresh!
June = Cooler temps and wonderful colors.
July = Wildflowers and more open scheduling for student athletes.
August = The epitome of summer photos!
September = Great temps, beautiful colors and the option for fall & summer looking images.
October = One word: Foliage.
November = Beautiful sunsets and great autumn colors.

The best dates are available when you plan ahead. The typical session is planned at least 3 weeks in advance.
As you’re looking at your schedule, school sports, fairs and family vacations will play a major part!

Whether senior, family or intimate, your portraits should be a representation of YOU. Think about what your favorite pieces of clothing are and put together outfits around those!

Your proofs will be ready within 2 weeks of your photo session. We will meet together in person to view and order your favorites!

Of course! We live in a digital age and most people love to share their images electronically or print them themselves. You can purchase the entire set of retouched images from your session or choose only your favorites.
